Following a tree visit 3

It has been a few weeks since I gave an update on the tree that I am following. Even with the recent warm weather it is only now starting to show signs of growth.

The good news, especially to my children, is that someone has removed the rubbish that was stuck in its branches. This means that they don't have the embarrassing task of helping me, which came as some relief to them!

Each time I visit the tree I notice something different. Do you see where someone has tried to set light to it? I'm so glad it wasn't successful!

I couldn't resist taking this picture of a tree with the sunset behind it, despite the caravans it looked lovely.

On another note I would like to say a big thank you to Jules for sending me a Liebster Blog award, thank you so much Jules, I do appreciate it. Her site A sea view is currently under reconstruction but her new banner shows exciting things yet to come. It is thought that the award originated in Germany and the idea is to pass it on another 5 blogs which you admire.

My nominations are therefore as follows:-

1) Why I love to Garden (Bobbie Lynn writes about her beautiful garden and makes wonderful cards)
2) Aunt Jane's Attic (Julie also lives in Dorset and enjoys walks by the sea and vintage finds)
3) Surf Chick 100 (Jo Anne's life in Cornwall)
4) Clotted Cream diaries (A Cornish and Scillonian food blog- Issy is also currently setting up a B&B in the Isles of Scilly)
5) Emillie's daughter (Christa's aim is to brighten everyones day- she does mine!)

The rules are as follows:-
1) Nominate 5 up and coming blogs to pass the award on to. They must have less than 200 followers.
2) Show a big thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
3) Post the award of your blog. List the bloggers you are giving an award to with links to their sites.

I would have liked to nominate all of the blogs that I follow.I know that to some blog awards can be a bit controversial and are viewed as something similar to chain letters, so I hope I haven't given anyone offence by nominating them.

I really do appreciate everyone who spends any of their time reading my blog and leaving comments and for me this is the greatest reward of all.

Sarah

  1. Hello:
What an absolutely splendid tree and we love the idea of making return visits to it at different times and in different seasons.

How fortunate you are to live in Dorset, a favourite English county of ours with Lyme Regis being somewhere we have, over the years, returned to time and time again.

The juxtaposition of the cerise tulip seen against the lime green of the Euphorbia is magical as a colour combination, appealing to us enormously, as of course does Twinkle.

We have discovered your very varied and interesting blog by chance and are signing ourselves as Followers.

  2. Dear Sarah, Thank you so very much for nominating my blog! That is so very kind of you and when I read how you describe my blog - I guess that is what I am trying to do: Brightening up the days! I am really flattered! I am so glad that I met you and your blog!
I love your project "tree visit". Fantastic and it is such a beautiful tree too! I have some tree and rose bush projects too and to me it is an enrichement in life. Most people do not have the eye to recognize these things. You are one of those people who have the gift for it. Isn't that wonderful? Wishing you and your family a happy Easter Holiday! Christa (now with a Liebster Blog Award!)
