Things to make me smile!

With time in short supply I thought I would share some moments this week that have made me smile!

Out on a walk with our neighbours this afternoon we came across this amazing bank full of  gold ! A mass of primroses and winter aconites.

When we visited the beach yesterday afternoon we found a box full of dog toys donated by Daisy's owners - although we have never come across Daisy on our walks, there was one dog who really enjoyed this kind gesture! Luckily he was happy to leave the new toy behind for other dogs to enjoy!

Or how about a cheerful welcome every morning  -This will make you smile!

Normal service will resume after Green Fortnight is over!

  2. How beautiful those flowers in such large amount!!! I do not see that here in North Dakota. It's so kind of people to leave the toys there for people to let their dog enjoy. You are indeed a civilized society where people would let their dogs play with the toys and then place it back so other dogs can also play with it. Your dog is amazingly cute!! We have two silly cats! Thank you for sharing.

  6. Lovely post....made me smile! 😊 We used to have a gentleman who'd sit on his porch at the end of the street we always took to get anywhere--there was a traffic light there and you had to turn left or right--and wave at everyone. When he passed and his house sold the new owner let the bushes grow up in front of the house so that you can't even see the house anymore. I think of him still when we sit at that light.

  11. It's been a good week for smiles all round, Sarah - not least because there are so many flowers to brighten up our outings! Native primroses are so beautiful. Yesterday I saw a golden bank of ... dandelions! Haha, they looked amazing. Leaving toys for dogs in a public place is a lovely kindness, wouldn't it be nice if more people did that. I hope that they're left for all to use and not "taken home" by a few! Hope you're enjoying warm sunshine this week, very hot in London yesterday and today but I'm not complaining!! x
