But my heart longs for my ancestry as it is in my blood.
All of your photos are like an arm chair travel log to me. I agree about the rustic chalets, more cozy and comfortable.
I'm so happy to hear you were able to find a home nearer to the sea. I was born eight miles from the ocean and now have lived 150 miles from the ocean for the past 32 years, so when I visit the sea I love it even more.

Oh, and Cornwall reminds me of the Susan Cooper book series 'The Dark Is Rising'. I am a fantasy reader and sci-fi writer. But I do love the romance of the vintage Victorian novels. If I could, I would wear flouncy dresses everyday!

May you have a very blessed week!
Teresa in California
http://amagicalwhimsy.blogspot.com/A Magical Whimsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15473478545205572098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3522710068688445614.post-34585167178356846302014-05-23T08:22:33.521+01:002014-05-23T08:22:33.521+01:00I'm glad this bought back some wonderful memor...I'm glad this bought back some wonderful memories of your sailing days around Plymouth and summer days on Whitsand beach. My favourite beach is Mwnt in west Wales - Ceredigion. It's absolutely magical (apart from the steps down - and then up again), overlooked by a massive 'mount' and a tiny whitewashed church nestling beneath it. I'm feeling a bit homesick just remembering! Happy Easter to you both, and Daisy. Your photos are always so picturesque! As for my favorite beach walk I'd have to say, since I don't have access to a beach very often, it's the very little beach on the Chesapeake Bay at the beach house we've rented for a long weekend the last two years because it's private. Nothing like having a beach all to yourself!Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17103364860587388726noreply@blogger.com
