We have always loved gardening and we spent over 20 years creating our previous garden, it was harder to say goodbye to the garden rather than the house.

I started Through the Garden Gate in January 2016 as an attempt to capture the changes happening each month in the garden. I was delighted to have other gardeners join me each month allowing us to peep over the garden gate into their gardens too!
