Spot the seagull!

Another week has flown by with a lack of many images at the moment! I am currently walking our neighbour's dog with Tavi in the mornings, while she recovers from a nasty fall in the mud. With two dogs who love balls there is no spare time to stop for photos as well! We did manage a trip over to Lyme Regis and enjoyed a walk along the shore, despite the greyness of the sky!

There seemed to be more seagulls around than humans!

It feels more like spring everyday, the garden is calling and as the Green Fortnight I am involved in draws nearer there doesn't seem much time at the moment to stop and stare.

I do appreciate your visit, normal service will resume soon!

  1. Lovely Lyme Regis, it's been ages since I visited, you have reminded me how pretty it is. I do like the coast at off-peak times. Hope the Green Fortnight planning is going well. CJ xx

  2. I'm glad you're having fun. And I must say that I think those beach huts are the prettiest things.

  3. Seagulls are definitely a problem here. Sat at a beach the other day I watched two poor people have their ice creams dive bombed. Unsuspecting tourists sadly. Hope your green fortnight goes well. Look forward to hearing about it. B xx

  4. It's beautiful there! Even with the grey skies the brightly coloured doors make it look welcoming. Have a happy week Sarah! xox

  6. Beaches are huge fun to be there but if you get such lovely company what else one want to see and enjoy

  7. It's wonderful that you can visit "touristy" areas so easily during the off-season. Seeing more seagulls than people sounds like my kind of place--although, I would not at all like having my ice cream cone dive-bombed! Even though I do not know what a Green Fortnight is, I'm looking forward to it if it's something you're interested in.

  8. Such lovely seaside photos, Sarah. I've just come indoors for a late lunch after gardening - the weather is just too good to be inside. Hope Green Fortnight goes well. Loved your Bridport post, too. It looks a lovely place. Sam x

  9. The seagulls were so noisy on our recent visit to the cottage even at night! Gorgeous photos as usual capturing life by the sea.

  10. Lovely Lyme Regis, probably nicer out of season nowadays. I used to love visiting with my grandparents when I was a little girl and then much later we'd visit on winter weekends when staying at Golden Cap. In between there was the time we literally got blown away while camping at Charmouth and had to B&B in Lyme. I've not heard about Green Fortnight. Looking forward to hearing more - and seeing more seaside photos too.

  11. Well it is nice to see there is some relatively calm weather somewhere in the blogging world! I keep seeing photos of huge snow storms (US) & in some parts of Australia we are having flooding rains!.....Enjoy your walks

  13. It all looks fairly peaceful at the seaside at the moment, I'm sure that will change soon. Then the seagulls will be happy with more food around from the tourists.

  14. Lyme Regis is a lovely town and the weather has been smashing this week (shame it has changed as I write this). Seagulls are magnificent birds but quite a pest in some areas xxx

  16. I like that you had more seagulls than people! Being crowded isn't fun. It's indeed a beautiful place! Thanks for sharing!

  17. I have mixed feelings about Lyme. Sometimes it has just the right atmosphere in summer - but sometimes it's far too crowded and hot so I decide I like it in winter better. But in winter it can be blowy and cold so I decide I miss all the tourists and bustle after all.

  18. Was in Lyme last week - very foggy. Our friend has one of those beach huts!
