Down by the sea - January Views

One of the effects of lockdown has been for us to realise the importance of nature and being outside for our wellbeing. I realised many years ago the importance for me of being close to the sea and how it would lighten my mood. One of our daily dog walks invariably leads to the sea.  We are so lucky to live a short walk away. Here are a few of the  images we have captured in January. Hope it gives you a feel  and beauty of the sea!

  1. Such beautiful photos, thanks so much for sharing. I live far too far away from the sea so I'll borrow your "sea feel" for a while.

  5. Hello!

Oh how we wish to be by the seaside, but visiting you has definitely given us a joyful virtual experience. The sea in all its moods holds a fascination for us and is so therapeutic in the strange and difficult times.

  11. Oh those are lovely! I used to go to a writing retreat twice a year on the northern Oregon Coast but have not been able to go with the pandemic. I do miss it. I have to get out in nature at least a couple of times a week and luckily live near enough to beautiful countryside that I get out for a drive and a walk when I can. Glad you have such beauty near you!
