Following a tree visit 4

Another visit to the beautiful willow tree I am following . I am pleased to report the leaves are now coming out. It looks so different with it now showing signs of life.........

I shall let the pictures do the talking.

If you are interested in following a tree too, go to Loose and Leafy for more details.

  1. How pretty the tree looks with it's first leaves Sarah. There is something about young green that makes it look magical. Especially when the sunlight shines on it.

    Have a lovely evening!

  2. Hello Sarah:
We think that this is such a jolly idea to 'follow a tree' through the seasons. Your Willow tree, just starting into leaf, looks so very attractive. We loved the little video clip - it reminded us of the little stream which used to run through our garden in Herefordshire.

  4. It's a wonderful tree to follow. Every visit a pleasure. I'm wondering if you'd be able to advise me about videos. I wanted to have a clip of a bird singing on my blog. It took several hours hours to load onto YouTube and within a few seconds of the upload being completed - it said I'd deleted it! I then made a reduced quality versions but that was so awful, sound and image, it wasn't worth using. Do you have any suggestions?

    1. Hi Lucy,
As you you are on blogspot too, you should be able to insert a video clip straight from your computer mine probably took about 10 minutes. The icon for this should be next the picture icon on your posting screen. Hope it works and we can all hear your bird song.

    2. Thanks for this. I was wary of because I've already used much space from my Loose and Leafy storage allocation. Not sure if it affects it but . . . Your reply made me want to keep trying and I eventually got a couple of clips onto YouTube. (You'll find them in my latest post.) I would still like to find a way to put long ones there but at least this is a start. Thanks ever so for the help.

  5. I am loving your tree posts :D My house looks out on a number of beautiful trees in the fields across the way but I am so used to seeing them I often forget to really notice when they change. You have reminded me to be more aware of each slight alteration this spring.
