Returning to Devon

This year we celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary. Luckily for us it occured a few days after the lockdown restrictions had been lifted in July and we were able to still go on our planned short break to Devon and stay in this amazing converted boat house.

A few years ago we were driving along this road and we saw the boat house being converted and I remarked how lovely it would be to live there, little knowing that we would have the chance to do so for a few days! Our son works for an eco holiday company so you can imagine my delight when they advertised a new property on their books, which I instantly recognised. It didn't take us long to make a booking.

We had a fantastic stay, the accomodation was so comfortable and it was lovely and so relaxing just sitting looking out at the
river. If you want to see more see the link below:

  1. Hello. Coastal Ripples mentioned that you had problems with blogger similar to what I'm having now. When I go to do a new post it won't allow me to write anything at all, only allows me to insert photos. I welcome any suggestions you might have as to how to resolve this issue. Thank you!

  3. Hi Julia, thanks for contacting me. I'm sorry you are having the same issues as me although it is nice to hear I am not alone. The problems seem to have started with the new version of blogger. I haven't found a solution yet but have tried this evening to use my phone to add the narrative and it seems to have worked! Keep in touch and please let me know if you find another solution!
