As I enjoy taking photographs I have joined the photo scavenger hunt that is run by Kathy at
Postcards from the P.P. Kathy will give a list of 12 things to photograph for the month and at the end of the period you have to upload them to the group in Flickr and also show on your blog, so here are the ones I have taken for March.

Hi, what a great group of photos, I think I like you square shot.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't the Plymouth Theatre remind you of Brewer's Quay?
ReplyDeleteAfter you mentioned it does, it had some wonderful tile murals but a bit like Brewers Quay had an an abandoned feel with a tree sprouting out of the top . I t most have been wonderful in times gone by.
DeleteWelcome to the scavenger hunt, you've taken some great photos! I love the button lamp and your tidy, homely kitchen!
ReplyDeleteI've done it since the start, Januart 2011 and for the first time ever I still don't have all my photos - I've got to finish and post today but I don't know where to find what I need!!
Welcome to the hunt! Like Louise I've been here from the beginning and it's grown into a great community. We all owe Kathy at PP a drink!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, Ellen
Welcome of Scavenging :) I'm another thats been here almost since the start (missed Jan 2011).
ReplyDeleteWell done for getting your o/h to pose nicely for half a face - mine messed around for ages!!
He didn't know I was taking his photo!
DeleteYou've taken some great photos, hope you've enjoyed taking part. Love your street name and morning also landmark as we visited The Eden Project laast year:)
ReplyDeleteLoved the button lamp - how clever. What is the Eden project? Where is the Mayflower stone? Good job.
ReplyDeleteThe Eden project contains the largest greenhouses in the world and was set up to conserve plants and educate us about the rainforests. The Mayflower stone is in Plymouth and is the last place that the Pilgrims touched English soil before departing to America.

Thanks. Both are very interesting.
DeleteLove the button lamp, a simple idea but it looks really effective. It's amazing where the photos for the hunt turn up!

A lovely set of photos. I especially like all the photos of Plymouth - I did my teachers training at the College of St Mark and St John, so they've brought back memories for me.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. I especially like the Eden Project one.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I love the fact your landmark is a rural one (I presume that the Eden project is rural. Me and my appalling geography!) The button lamp is fabulous! I wonder if I can make one!
ReplyDeleteNice to 'meet you' through the hunt!!! It's the first time I've done it!
