Wishing you a Merry Christmas
I was trying so hard to be more organised for Christmas this year.....
A trip to the Christmas market in Salisbury with my daughter didn't, however, go quite according to plan! When we parked the car I realised that my purse was still sitting in the kitchen at home! So we had a day out on a student budget instead, which was fun and will be remembered for many years to come, especially by my daughter! We did have enough money to buy a string of dried fruit which were made on a farm in North Devon, the fruit is freezer dried on a large scale.
The Christmas market in Salisbury was lovely, most of the stalls were selling locally produced items and there was enough space to see everything. The stall holders were friendly and happy too !
We did lots of window shopping too!
and walked by the river and admired the buildings in Cathedral close. You don't need lots of money to have a good time!
My son and his girlfriend are arriving for Christmas today, so if I don't get a chance again I wish you all a very

You are right, Sarah! No necessity to spend lots of money to have great fun! Sometimes we make a no-spending day and just use up what we have in the house - that is always a pleasure! It is fabulous to walk in such a lovely landscape as you have it where you live! So wishing you too - Merry Christmas - keep warm in the heart! Christa
