Hearts and bunting by the sea

Down one of the back streets in Weymouth, close to the beach, is one of my favourite shops.

It has many sea themed items, always popular with me!

The words on the bag below bring instant visions of the British seaside and next to it are such pretty windbreaks.

I loved these owls too!

Hearts, bunting and china and painted furniture what more could you want?

I failed in my quest to just take photos and had to buy this basket of vases just the thing to show off some blooms from the garden.

Hope you are all having a good week.

  2. A lovely little shop. There are lots like this in my town but I very rarely visit them - too many nice things and I don't have my own home to put them in :( !

Thanks for your comment on my 'round three' post.

  5. Dear Sarah,
I can see why the basket of vases had to come home with you - it's great! Luckily we don't have any similar shop locally - or else I would need a very deep purse!

  8. I would certainly be tempted in there - but I have to keep reminding myself that our aim will be to downsize in the not too distant future - so must cut the shopping - but oh it is so difficult!

  22. What could one want more? You are so very right! I LOVE this shop and your photographs! Very well done! Fish and chips is one of our favorite dishes when visiting the UK - in fact we had it up the road in an English pub the other night and all that was missing was brown sauce! Have a good weekend and thanks for all your comments on my blog! Christa
