Time for a haircut!
Her appointment was almost at the same time as the time the bus was due, and as we approached the bus stop I noticed a friend in the queue. I explained that Daisy was off to have her hair cut and everyone else standing waiting for the bus suddenly became interested in us too and followed our progress!
Having left Daisy at the groomers I retraced my steps to be greeted with applause when I reached the bus stop! I am happy to report that when I picked Daisy up she was very smart and did the journey home in record time - but this time we didn't have the audience!
Welcome to my new followers one from Russia (I'm sorry I can't work out the name) and Shirley, it's great to meet you.

Hello Sarah:
ReplyDeleteDaisy is, we are sure, a wonderful dog to have and we are certain that she gives you a great deal of pleasure. However, it is very strange the way in which animals can so often sense something which they know they will not enjoy. Our cats, who were quite used to travelling but did not like their baskets, would always be aware of something about to happen even before their baskets were produced.
Do the cats come over to Hungary with you? Our cat hates the car and a journey to the vets 2 miles away is too much for her!

George went to the dog groomers yesterday and looks very sorry for himself! Daisy on the other hand despite the struggle to get to the groomers looks all chilled out!

That's one thing I don't have to bother with. Whippets don't have much hair to start with! Se looks very happy to be home again.

ReplyDeleteDaisy is so adorable with her haircut, I love Westies! She must have so much personality being a terrier :) xo K
ReplyDeleteDaisy sounds just like my mum's westie! Stubborn and hates baths!
ReplyDeleteBless her x I have had the same problem with dachshunds in the past. Thankfully the whippets don't need a dog groomer, just the occasional bath!
ReplyDeleteWe have had dachshunds in the past too and I agrre they are stubborn too!

ReplyDeleteYour dog is so nice
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, Daisy is super cute...
ReplyDeleteI'm not really a dog people.. but such an adorable one... and so little I think that I would like!!!
XOXO
She is so adorable. I have been wanting a Daisy for a long while and my Daughter (who worked in an animal hospital) said that everyone that came in, were so spoiled and they did not like anyone touching them at all. I hope she much cooler with her bath and hair trim.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
What a cut little dog, she looks like she enjoys having her photo taken!
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, could you tell me what you feed Daisy. My Westie is a very picky eater and I'm constantly having to change his diet to get him to eat. He'll like it for a few days and then refuse it. Then his stomach gets upset because it's empty. Help!
